I grew up believing in ghosts and mermaids. I hunted for pixies and spirits throughout my childhood. When none could be found, I decided to bring them into existence the only way I knew how—through my writing.

Today, I write stories from the dark corners of the folktales and fables told to me when I was little. I’ve brought to life rich characters who are trying to find their way when magic exists along with everything else-- good and evil.

I write using my own family’s ancestry for inspiration. I write for the young girl I once was, who yearned for fairytales to be real, and for others who felt just as I once did, and still do.
